Description
A St. Patrick's Day edition of the standard Jameson blend, bottled by Irish Distillers for the 2018 national day. The liquid is the familiar marriage of single pot still and grain whiskey from Midleton in East Cork, triple distilled and unpeated, dressed in a seasonal label rather than reformulated.
Maturation is led by ex-bourbon barrels, giving vanilla, soft toffee and a wash of orchard fruit over the silky Midleton texture. At 40% it stays light and sociable, the gentle grain sweetness and mild pot still spice making it an everyday pour marked for the occasion. Released across the European market.
