Description
The 2015 St. Patrick's Day edition of Jameson, a yearly seasonal outing for the Irish Distillers blend. It brings together single pot still and grain whiskey from the Midleton distillery in East Cork, triple distilled and unpeated, in the same recipe that anchors the standard bottle.
Aged in ex-bourbon oak, the whiskey shows vanilla, soft toffee and a run of orchard fruit over a silky, easy texture. At 40% it drinks gently, the light grain sweetness and mild spice of the Midleton style making it a relaxed pour dressed for the day. Bottled for Europe.
