Description
Jameson Signature Reserve is a travel retail expression of Irish Distillers' flagship blend, distilled at the Midleton distillery in East Cork. It pairs single pot still whiskey with lighter grain, all triple distilled and unpeated in the house manner, and was bottled at litre size for duty free shelves across Europe.
The blend matures in a mix of ex-bourbon barrels and Oloroso sherry casks, the bourbon oak lending vanilla and soft toffee while the sherry adds dried fruit and a nutty depth. At 40% it drinks smooth and mellow, with the orchard fruit and creamy texture of Midleton pot still framing a clean, gently spiced finish.
