Description
Jameson JJ&S takes its name from John Jameson and Son, the historic Dublin house whose Bow Street distillery gave rise to the brand before production moved to Midleton. This bottling is a blend of single pot still and grain whiskey triple distilled at the Midleton distillery in Co. Cork, presented at a higher strength than the standard Jameson.
Matured in ex-bourbon oak in the house style, it shows vanilla, soft orchard fruit, honey and light baking spice. Bottled at 46% rather than the usual 40%, it carries more intensity and a firmer texture while keeping the smooth, unpeated Midleton character, a nod to the older Dublin lineage behind the modern blend.
