Jameson Gold Reserve sits above the standard blend in the range, a marriage of single pot still and grain whiskey triple distilled at the Midleton distillery in Co. Cork. Released within the Special Reserve tier, it leans on older whiskey and a greater share of pot still spirit for a richer, more rounded profile.
Matured in ex-bourbon oak, with some virgin oak adding a toasted, spicy note, it carries honey, vanilla, soft orchard fruit and a creamy, nutty warmth. Bottled at 40% and unpeated, it retains the silky, triple distilled Midleton character while offering greater depth and a smoother, more sustained finish than the everyday Jameson.
