Description
Jameson Celebrating 100 Years of Radio is a commemorative bottling of the house blend from the Midleton distillery in Co. Cork, marrying single pot still and grain whiskey triple distilled at the East Cork site by Irish Distillers. Released as a Special Reserve to mark a centenary of radio broadcasting, it dresses the standard blend in commemorative livery rather than changing the liquid itself.
Matured in ex-bourbon oak, it shows the smooth, unpeated Midleton character that made Jameson a global name, with vanilla, soft orchard fruit, a touch of citrus and light baking spice. Bottled at 40%, it is an approachable, easygoing blend, the commemorative framing sitting around a familiar and well balanced core.
