Isle of Jura 20 Years Old

One And All is a 20 year old Isle of Jura matured across ex-Bourbon, Oloroso and Pinot Noir casks, bottled at a cask strength 51%. An outturn of 5,000 bottles, the name nods to the island community the distillery was built to serve. The island of Jura has just one distillery, rebuilt in 1963 to revive a community that had lost its trade.

Rebuilt in 1963 for a light, clean spirit, the distillery carries a multi-cask vatting well over two decades. Matured in ex-Bourbon, Oloroso and Pinot Noir casks, the woods layer vanilla, dried fruit and a soft wine note.

Bottled at its natural cask strength of 51%. The ex-Bourbon gives vanilla, the Oloroso fig and raisin, the Pinot Noir a berry lift. The recorded notes run to a sherried character, honey, seasoned oak, chocolate, dried fruit and leather. A rich, layered older island malt.
