Decadent Drinks bottled this 30 year old 1994 Isle of Jura for its Whisky Sponge series, matured in ex-Bourbon wood at 46%. An outturn of 203 bottles for Europe. Jura is the sole distillery on its remote Inner Hebridean island, brought back to life in 1963.

The distillery's light, clean spirit rewards three decades in oak. Matured in ex-Bourbon wood, the cask deepens the honeyed malt.

Bottled at 46%. The ex-Bourbon wood gives vanillin for vanilla and oak lactones for coconut, with maltol for toffee. Three decades have built a waxy, honeyed depth over polished oak. A long-matured Whisky Sponge Jura.
