Description
Wein- und Sektkellerei Inführ at Klosterneuburg has produced Sekt for more than a hundred years and holds a long record of awards. This Cabinet Brut is built on two grapes typical of Austria: Grüner Veltliner, known for its bright acidity and delicate pepper, and Welschriesling, which adds floral character and fruity elegance. The base wine comes from selected sites around Poysdorf in the Weinviertel, a leading source of sparkling base wine. Production follows the Charmat method, with controlled fermentation in pressurised tanks and gentle handling to keep the varietal aromas. The Brut dosage gives a dry, precise profile with a lively edge.
The colour is a light straw yellow with greenish reflections and a fine, long bead. The nose shows fresh apple and citrus against delicate floral hints and the peppery signature of Grüner Veltliner. The palate is dry, lively and neat, with clear fruit, structured acidity and a mineral finish, the mousse finely woven. Serve well chilled at 6 to 8 degrees. It works as an aperitif and alongside light starters, fish, seafood and white meat.
