Description
Wein- und Sektkellerei Inführ at Klosterneuburg has produced sparkling wine for more than a century and is among the most awarded houses in Austria. This organic bottling comes from certified vineyards in the Weinviertel and is made by the Charmat method, the second fermentation running in pressurised tanks to keep a fine bead and consistent character. The blend brings together Welschriesling, with its floral and fruity ease, and Grüner Veltliner, which adds a lively backbone and a faint pepper. The wine carries the AT-BIO-301 organic certification and is sealed under natural cork, with a dry Brut finish at around 10 grams per litre.
The colour is a light golden yellow. The nose and palate are gentle and rounded, with mild orchard fruit, a soft floral lift and a fine perlage. The finish is long and easy. Serve well chilled at 6 to 8 degrees as an aperitif. Its mild, approachable style suits white fish, fresh salads and soft goat's cheese.
