Description
Wein- und Sektkellerei Inführ is a long-established Austrian sparkling house, and this Sekt is presented in a nine-litre Salmanazar for large-format service. It is built on typical Austrian white grapes, led by Grüner Veltliner with Welschriesling, and made by the tank method, with the second fermentation in pressurised stainless steel to preserve the fresh, primary fruit. The wine is finished dry at Brut, giving a crisp, clean style suited to celebration and pouring for a crowd.
The colour is pale straw with a fine, energetic bead. The nose shows green apple, pear and lemon with white flowers, and the palate is dry and fresh with white peach and citrus peel on a clean finish. Serve well chilled at around 6 to 8 degrees in a flute or white wine glass, as an aperitif or alongside light salads, white fish and shellfish.
