Inführ is an Austrian sparkling house, and this Brillance Royale bottling puts Grüner Veltliner centre stage with fruit from the Weinviertel, one of the country's benchmark regions for the grape. The second fermentation follows the tank method, a gentle approach that holds onto the variety's fresh apple and floral character and its trademark white-pepper spice. A restrained dosage rounds the profile without softening the wine's dry backbone, giving a clean, precise style that keeps the grape typicity to the front.
The colour is a light golden yellow with greenish reflections and a fine, lively perlage. The nose shows green apple, white flowers and a touch of citrus zest. The palate is fresh, dry and focused, with animating acidity and a gentle peppery spice through a delicate finish. Serve well chilled at 6 to 8 degrees in a tulip glass or white wine glass. It makes a fine aperitif and suits carpaccio, fresh cheese, seafood and lighter poultry.
