The nose is intensely spicy with aromatic herbal depth, the palate strong and complex with balanced herbs, spicy bitterness and a fine sweetness, and the finish long and warming with intense herbs. A base of mint, anise, wormwood and gentian gives the bittersweet herbal spine.
