Floral and softly fruity, with lavender and geranium rising over juniper before blackberries and a citrus-peel brightness arrive. Pot-distilled in small Dublin batches from thirteen botanicals, many foraged around Phoenix Park near the bridge that gives it its name. Long, gently sweet and quietly elegant.

Description
Named for Dublin's Ha'penny Bridge, where crossing once cost a half-penny, this Irish dry gin is pot-distilled in small batches from thirteen botanicals that map the local landscape. Alongside juniper, coriander and angelica root sit blackberries, dandelion flowers, lavender and geranium, many of them growing wild around Phoenix Park, with orange and lemon peel, black pepper, anise, liquorice and cassia rounding the picture.
The nose is floral and inviting, lavender and juniper carried on fresh citrus. The palate is balanced and layered, juniper meeting blackberry, lavender and orange and lemon peel with a fine spice running through. The finish is long, faintly sweet and floral, citrus lingering at the close. Serve it with a premium tonic, a slice of lemon and a sprig of fresh mint, or experiment with apple and dill to coax out the garden botanicals.
