Intense juniper sits at the centre, wrapped in floral accents and the warmth of cardamom and nutmeg. Built on an Ugni Blanc grape spirit and the same June-picked vine flowers as its sibling, this 45% bottling is the bolder, more herbal of the pair. Aromatic, deep and built for a stirred glass.

Description
G'Vine Nouaison is the more assertive of Maison Villevert's two French gins, named for the nouaison, the moment the fertilised Ugni Blanc flower sets into a young grape. Like its sibling it is built on a smooth grape spirit and the vine blossom hand-picked over a few June days, but here the spice is turned up and the strength raised to 45%, giving it a deeper, more commanding presence.
The nose is intense juniper wrapped in floral accents and subtle spice. The palate is strong and balanced, deep herbal notes meeting the warm complexity of cardamom and nutmeg, with floral hints threading through, before a long finish carrying a fine peppery spice. It earns its keep in a Negroni or a robust Martini; in a gin and tonic, lean on a Mediterranean tonic with an orange twist or a few pink peppercorns.
