Grey Goose L’Orange is the orange version of the French wheat vodka, made by cellar master Francois Thibault. Fresh orange oils are distilled together with the wheat spirit rather than simply blended in, which keeps the citrus vivid and natural. The result is a bright, full-bodied orange vodka with the soft Grey Goose base underneath.

Description
Grey Goose is made in the Cognac region of France from soft winter bread wheat, which gives the base its rounded, mild texture, and L'Orange applies the same care to its fruit. Rather than blending in a flavouring, cellar master Francois Thibault takes the essential oils from fresh oranges and distills them with the wheat spirit, so the citrus is carried through the process rather than stirred in at the end. That method is the reason the orange reads as vivid and natural, with a brightness that a simple mixed flavour rarely manages.
The nose is fresh and fruity with clear orange. The palate is full-bodied and fragrant, the citrus generous over the soft wheat base, and the finish is long, fresh and gently warming. Because the orange here is bright and genuinely fruit-led, the serve that shows it best is a step up from the obvious screwdriver: build it over ice with freshly squeezed orange juice and a small splash of soda, then express an orange peel over the top, so fresh juice meets the distilled orange and the soda keeps the whole thing lively rather than heavy.
