Aged for 7 to 10 years in a mix of ex-bourbon and sherry casks, the whiskey is then finished in the Léoville Barton casks that previoulsy held cabernet sauvignon wine, adding layers of ripe red berries, oak, and subtle spice. This finish enhances the natural fruitiness and creamy texture of Green Spot, making it stand out among the pot still category. The combination of these cask types creates a balanced whiskey with added complexity from one of Bordeaux’s finest wineries.
