Gran Cava de Oro Tequila Tasting Set (3 x 50 ml)

This set holds three 50 ml Gran Cava de Oro tequilas, a plata, an anejo and an extra anejo, presented as a flight through the full range without committing to three large bottles. The miniatures copy the larger format closely, glass stopper and all, and the line is made from Blue Weber agave at the Cava de Oro distillery in El Arenal, Jalisco.

The set is built to show ageing at work. The plata is bottled unaged, leading with cooked agave, citrus and pepper, the anejo spends at least a year in oak and picks up vanilla, caramel and dried fruit, and the extra anejo, aged three years or more in casks under 600 litres, turns oak-forward with butterscotch, dried fig and toasted wood as the agave moves to the background. All three are bottled at 40%.
