From the Dutch bottler van Wees, a 20 year old Glen Keith, distilled in 1992, from cask 120564, bottled at 46%, one of 189 bottles. Glen Keith is a clean, fruity Speyside malt from the town of Keith in Moray. Its tall, narrowing stills give a light, fruity Speyside spirit.

The spirit was made on Balloch Hill water and condensed in shell and tube condensers, for a light, elegant spirit with a soft malt. Maturation came in ex-Bourbon wood, the oak quiet behind the light spirit. At oxidative maturity aldehydes lend a nutty edge while ellagitannins add a gentle, drying grip over the fruit. The cool Speyside air gives a slow, even maturation in the Glen Keith warehouses. Built for the blender's art, the spirit ages with grace as a single malt. Its first permanent single malt was released in 2017, the Distillery Edition. Refill oak lets the light, fruity Glen Keith character lead the way.

At 46% it is fresh, fruity and clean. A light, orchard fruit and citrus, with a soft vanilla from the oak. A baked apple and a gentle spice lift it. The finish runs light, fruity and clean. This is a fresh, fruity Speyside malt from the Chivas stable.
