Description
Gaenserndorfer Kulinarium Limoncello-Cream Likoer is an Austrian cream liqueur from the family business Horvath's Spezereyen, bottled at 17%. The house works with potato vodka, gin and a range of liqueurs, and this expression brings the freshness of lemons together with the smoothness of a cream liqueur, in the homogenised cream style where cream and spirit are blended into a stable emulsion. The pairing of lemon brightness and dairy body is its signature.
The nose is fresh, lively citrus of ripe lemons with a creamy vanilla note and a touch of lemon peel, the palate soft and full bodied with a balance between fruity lemon freshness and a smooth, creamy texture, lifted by vanilla and a delicate sweetness, finishing long and smooth with a refreshing citrus note. Behind the bar it adds dairy body, lemon flavour and sweetness in one pour, which makes it a soft dessert ingredient and a partner to lemon sorbet, panna cotta or a light fruit salad. Pour it neat or over ice. As a cream liqueur it is a dairy product once opened, so keep it cool and use it fresh.
