Galliano Vanilla

Galliano Vanilla is an Italian vanilla liqueur from the Galliano house, makers of the tall bottled vanilla and anise liqueur famous as the Harvey Wallbanger float, and is bottled at 30%. It is built on the well known Galliano L'Autentico base, whose herbal and spicy character is here pushed toward a pronounced vanilla component drawn from the vanilla orchid. The result keeps the house aromatic signature while leading with vanilla.

The nose is vanilla with light mint, toffee and herbs, the palate creamy vanilla with subtle peppermint freshness, sweet liquorice and fine herbal notes, finishing long with vanilla, spicy mint and a hint of aniseed. Behind the bar it works as a vanilla sweetener with an unusual herbal lift, adding creamy sweetness and an anise edge that a plain vanilla liqueur lacks. It supports creamy desserts such as panna cotta and vanilla ice cream, enriches coffee drinks, and rounds an espresso martini riff. Pour it over ice or stir it into coffee and dessert serves.
