Spirit of Rum bottle this Foursquare single cask under the Rumclub Private Selection line, drawing on the 2016 vintage from Richard Seale's St Philip distillery in Barbados. Just under ten years old, unsweetened and at 64.2%, it offers the cask-strength Foursquare experience with no added sugar, colour or flavouring, in the dry single blend tradition.

The classic pot-and-column spirit was matured tropically in ex-bourbon oak. It is generous with ripe, slightly overripe tropical fruit, coconut and caramel, with a pastry-like sweetness of character and a bourbon note throughout, before the finish dries out into spicy oak, wood and chocolate. The strength is bold but the fruit keeps it lively rather than harsh. This is a characterful, intense Barbados rum that delivers extra tropical depth and punch, well suited to drinkers who already enjoy dry Foursquare at full power.
