The Edinburgh Gin Distillery has worked in the heart of the Scottish capital since 2010, balancing traditional London Dry methods with playful flavoured releases from rhubarb and ginger to elderflower. This Spiced Orange Blossom and Mandarin liqueur is built on the distillery's award-winning Classic Gin, then sweetened and scented to a gentle 20% so the fruit takes centre stage. It pours a warm orange and leads with the aroma of natural orange blossom.
The nose offers bright citrus fruit wrapped in floral orange blossom, while the palate delivers candied mandarin and ripe orange, rich and softly perfumed rather than sharp. The finish lingers sweetly on the tongue. Serve over ice and lengthen with prosecco for an easy aperitif, or top with soda and a wedge of orange for something lighter.
