Description
Cask 1650 held this 20 Years Old single malt, released in 2022 under the revived Dunville's name by Echlinville of Kircubbin, Co. Down and bottled only for Germany. The spirit long predates the 2013 distillery, mature sourced Irish malt handled in the bonder tradition, with Echlinville's cask work providing the signature.
Twenty years culminating in Pedro Ximenez sherry wood give a dense, dark profile, fig and date, malt extract, chocolate and a worn leather note, with honey and fresh fruit surfacing beneath. At its cask strength of 55.5% and with just 340 bottles drawn, it sits at the collectable end of the Dunville's single cask series.
