Bottled by the Scottish independent Dràm Mòr from an undisclosed Martinique distillery, this MMLF is a six year old agricole pressed from fresh sugarcane juice, a single cask at cask strength, 54% and unsweetened. Reviewers peg it as a La Favorite in style, and it carries that grassy, herbal house character.

Matured in ex-bourbon oak, it leans into earthy, vegetal territory rather than fruit or sweetness. The nose is herbal and vegetal with hay, a raspberry lift and a floral edge, the palate is earthy, herbal and mineral with a notably light body, and the finish brings cinnamon, more earth, raspberry and marzipan. There is a pleasant sweetness and a savoury umami close, with plenty of dirty, complex flavour for those who want it. The body is on the thin side and the profile is niche rather than crowd-pleasing.
