Don Q 151 Overproof is the high-strength expression from Destileria Serralles in Ponce, Puerto Rico, a column-still molasses rum aged around three years and bottled at a forceful 75.5%. It exists for the bar rather than the armchair, a dependable and affordable 151 built to add fire and body to Mai Tais, tiki recipes and anything that needs lift.

The clean Puerto Rican column distillate keeps the spirit relatively simple, with woody, lightly roasted character, cocoa, caramel and dried fruit, plus cinnamon and a herbal edge through the long finish.
