The 2025 Paris Edition series from Chichibu and La Maison du Whisky introduces a new wrinkle: individual expressions named after specific locations, with this Asakusa bottling among the first to carry a place name rather than simply the year. Chichibu is Venture Whisky's Saitama distillery, built by Ichiro Akuto in 2008, and the annual Paris Edition collaboration with La Maison du Whisky remains among its highest-profile international partnerships.
