Unlike the La Maison du Whisky variant of the 2024 Paris Edition, this version is bottled by Chichibu directly for an event market, carrying the distillery's own bottling on its label. Chichibu is Venture Whisky's Saitama distillery, founded by Ichiro Akuto in 2008, and has built a strong international following through a series of single-market and event only expressions that highlight the range possible within its small-batch stocks.
Matured in Ex-Bourbon casks and bottled at cask strength 50.5%, this 2024 Paris Edition delivers the distillery's hallmark vibrancy: the clean, lively new make spirit shaped by American oak into vanilla, orchard fruit and gentle cereal sweetness. At this proof, the texture is assertive but the fruit character remains at the forefront, in line with the approachable yet concentrated style that has made Chichibu single malt widely collected.
