This is a Cameronbridge single grain, chosen and bottled by Wilson & Morgan, a 30 year old single grain distilled in 1992, from cask 115089 and bottled at 49.8%. The outturn was 216 bottles. Cameronbridge, in the Kingdom of Fife, is Diageo's largest distillery and the home of Scotch grain whisky. It is one of the largest distilleries in Europe, making well over a hundred million litres a year.

Distilled in column stills for a clean, sweet grain, building the light Cameronbridge grain style. A sherry cask held it, the wood lending raisin and walnut. Past two decades the grain deepens into coconut, toffee and crème brûlée. The slow loss of the angel's share concentrates the sweet, oily core over the years. Pot stills for malt whisky were removed in 1929, leaving Cameronbridge a pure grain plant. The site was expanded again in 2007 in a forty million pound investment.

At a hearty 49.8% it carries real weight. The Pedro Ximenez lends raisin, date and treacle over the sweet grain. It is clean and sweet, the grain spirit shining through. The close is soft, dessert sweet over oak. This is an aged single grain from Diageo's largest distillery.
