Bols Lychee Liqueur

Bols Lychee comes from the fruit range of Bols, the Amsterdam house distilling and blending liqueurs since 1575 and carrying around forty flavours for the working bar. Lychee is combined with sugar and a neutral distilled spirit into a soft, fragrant liqueur at 17%, made in the traditional macerated style that holds the fresh fruit and floral character.

The nose is fresh, intense lychee with subtle floral accents, the palate sweet and fruity and unmistakably of ripe lychee with a gentle exotic edge, the finish soft and persistently sweet. Behind the bar it adds perfumed tropical fruit and sweetness, a useful aromatic lift for delicate, fruit led drinks. It is the fruit heart of a Lychee Martini, lengthens into a Lychee Spritz, and brings a fragrant note to summer long drinks and desserts. It also flavours ice cream and sorbets well.
