Bols Blueberry Liqueur

Bols Blueberry comes from Lucas Bols, one of the oldest liqueur houses in the world, distilling and blending in Amsterdam since 1575. Bottled at 17% in 70cl, it is built on a careful selection of sun-ripened blueberries through a gentle process that keeps the fruity and slightly spicy notes of the berry. In the traditional fruit liqueur style the blueberry leads, balanced between sweetness and acidity.

The nose is an intense blueberry fragrance with the fruity freshness and sweetness of the berries, the palate fruity and sweet with a clear blueberry note, a light citrus freshness and a gentle sweetness, the finish smooth and long with fresh blueberry lingering. Its job in a glass is berry flavour, sweetness and colour, which makes it a natural in a Blueberry Mojito, a blueberry fizz or a Berry Martini, and a useful colour note in summer serves. Pour it neat over ice, or lengthen it in a refreshing long drink. A bright berry note for the back bar.
