Siboney Licor de Ron No. 34 is a Dominican Republic rum liqueur from Bodegas Cochon-Calvo, made from a very young base of around six months in ex-bourbon wood and bottled at a low 34%. The licor de ron designation and the reduced strength both signal a sweetened, liqueur-style product rather than a dry, aged rum.

This is best understood for what it is: a soft, sweet, easy-going pour built for mixing or casual sipping rather than serious contemplation. With minimal ageing behind it the emphasis falls on sweetness and a light, simple character, so approach it as a sweet rum liqueur in the Dominican mould and not as a mature sipping ron.
