Berliner Luft Lemon Days Der Frische Pfefferminzlikör

Berliner Luft Lemon Days is a citrus version of the Schilkin peppermint liqueur from Berlin, bottled at 18% in 70cl. It keeps the brand's signature peppermint and layers in lemon, with the wider range's faint anise, wormwood and gentian sitting beneath. In the modern flavoured peppermint style it is built light and refreshing rather than bittersweet, the lemon and mint sharing the lead.

The nose is fresh lemon over a lively peppermint note, the palate refreshing and bright with clear lemon harmonising with cool mint and a pleasant sweetness, the finish long with citrus freshness gently carried by the mint. Its job in a glass is citrus freshness and a cooling menthol lift, which makes it a natural in a lemon mojito, a gin and tonic or a lemon fizz. Pour it neat and well chilled as a shot, or lengthen it over ice as a summer refresher. Serve cold for the cleanest mint and lemon snap.
