Berliner Luft Der Extra Starke is the high strength peppermint liqueur from Schilkin, the Berlin family distiller making the Berliner Luft range since 1932. It carries the brand's fresh, clear mint character at a firm 40%, made without added colourings or preservatives and noted as lactose free and gluten free, a particularly pure and natural take on the peppermint liqueur. The strength sets it apart from the gentler editions.

The nose is fresh and intense with a clear peppermint note, the palate strong and refreshing with a pronounced mint, the finish long and cooling with a light sweetness. Behind the bar that concentrated mint and higher proof give a clean menthol lift with real backbone, useful where a sweeter mint liqueur would fall short.
