Basil, sage and kaffir lime leaf lend this London Dry a fresh, green lift, with lavender softening the juniper’s pine. Made in small batches at G&J and bottled at a generous 46%, it stays dry and herbal to the last. A quietly assured pour that tastes of a Mediterranean kitchen garden.

Description
Berkeley Square comes out of G&J Distillers, one of England's oldest gin houses, and this limited release is built around a kitchen-garden conceit: basil, sage and kaffir lime leaves steeped together so the herbal botanicals read like a bouquet garni rather than a botanical list. Distilled the classic London Dry way and bottled at a confident 46%, it keeps its structure clear while the lavender and coriander round out the edges.
The nose opens on juniper and crushed fresh herbs, with a fine thread of citrus behind. The palate is poised and dry, the pine of juniper meeting basil and sage before lavender lends a faint floral sweetness; the finish lingers herbal and clean. Pour it over plenty of ice with a neutral or Mediterranean tonic and a basil leaf to let the green notes sing.
