Belvedere Organic Vodka + Led Lichtsticker

Belvedere is made in Poland by Polmos Żyrardów, and this version is grown from certified organic rye rather than the usual wheat. Rye gives vodka a fuller body with a faint peppery, cereal edge, and the distillery works it without any added sugar or flavourings so the grain stays the centre of the spirit. The rye is fermented and distilled, then cut with water drawn from the brand's own sources and bottled at 40%. This is the standard organic liquid in a generous 1.75-litre bottle, fitted with an LED light sticker that lights the iconic frosted design when it sits on a back bar.

The nose is very clean and quiet, with fine hints of rye coming through. The palate is soft and clearly structured, carrying an elegant cereal note and a balanced texture, and the finish runs long and harmonious without any heat. Pour it straight from the freezer alongside blini and a spoon of caviar: the cold thickens the body, the salt lifts the rye, and the vodka's clean structure keeps the pairing precise rather than rich.
