Description
Belvedere Dirty Brew starts from Belvedere Organic Vodka, the Polish rye spirit made by Polmos Żyrardów from certified organic rye and pure water. That base is then steeped with Robusta coffee, the beans that carry more bitterness and a heavier body than Arabica, to turn a clean vodka into a deliberately dark, coffee-led drink. It is bottled lower than a standard vodka, at 30%, which leaves the texture dense and viscous and lets the roast character sit forward while the rye stays in the background. This is a flavoured spirit drink rather than a classic vodka, and it is built to taste that way.
The nose is roasted coffee beans, dark toffee and warm roasted notes. The palate brings fresh espresso, silky dark chocolate and a restrained sweetness, and the finish is smooth and velvety with a dark close and a fine thread of rye. Drink it neat over a single large ice cube after a meal, or build it into a White Russian using half the usual cream so the coffee already in the spirit drives the glass and the dairy only softens the edges.
