An orange forward Pelinkovac from Badel 1862, the Croatian wormwood herbal liqueur refined with bitter orange for a bittersweet citrus lift at 25%; soft and fruity, it adds aromatic orange and a gentle herbal bitterness to a drink.

Description
Badel Pelinkovac Orange is a fruitier version of the classic Croatian herbal liqueur Pelinkovac, made by Badel 1862, the Zagreb house working since 1862. It is built on the classic herbal base and refined with natural bitter orange extracts, marrying the Mediterranean herbal tradition of wormwood and mountain herbs to a tangy note of sun ripened oranges. It is bottled at 25%.
The nose is intense and aromatic with herbs, orange peel, honey and a slight bitter note, the palate soft, harmonious and fruity with a fine balance between bitter herbs, sweet orange and a spicy undertone, the finish fresh and pleasantly tart with a bittersweet citrus note. Behind the bar this is a herbal liqueur that doubles as an aromatic orange modifier, adding bittersweet citrus lift and a gentle herbal bitterness. It works neat on ice, lengthens into a refreshing aperitif with soda or tonic, and gives a base for citrus led long drinks. It also harmonises with citrus desserts, dark chocolate and grilled food.
