Description
AI Galli Prosecco Brut is a Prosecco DOC from the Veneto, made entirely from Glera. Like the rest of the range it is produced by the tank method, with the second fermentation in pressurised stainless steel, which keeps the wine fresh and its aromatics primary. The Brut dosage is the driest of the common Prosecco styles, so the wine reads crisper and more citrus-driven than its Extra Dry sibling. It is bottled young and made for immediate drinking.
The colour is pale straw with a fine, foamy bead. The nose is fresh, with green apple, pear and lemon over white flowers, and the palate is dry and crisp with white peach and melon fruit and a clean, brisk finish. Serve well chilled at around 6 to 8 degrees in a flute or white wine glass, as an aperitif or with salads, white fish and shellfish.
