A Clean Spirit Skunk Rum Batch 1 is the first batch of this Danish distillery's overproof white, a molasses rum bottled unaged at 61.2%. Like its siblings it skips the cask entirely, presenting the raw, fruit driven distillate at high strength for drinkers and bartenders who want character and power in equal measure.

Expect a fresh, fruity nose of tropical fruit, with the palate turning spicy and warm under a clear alcoholic backbone. This is unfiltered character in the glass, vivid and a little untamed, the sort of white rum that defines a cocktail rather than disappearing into it. It comes into its own in tiki drinks and punches where its strength and tropical fruit hold up against ice and citrus, while the bold can sip it neat to meet the spirit head on.
