9 Mile is a German grain vodka named after the 9 Mile Canyon in the United States, whose rock formations inspired its bottle. It is distilled several times and cut with soft water for a mild, clean style at 37.5%. This bottling comes in a gift box with a matching glass, with a note that the LED light sticker is faulty though the vodka itself is unaffected.

Description
9 Mile is made by the Granite Rock Distillery in Germany and takes both its name and its striking bottle from the 9 Mile Canyon in the United States. The base is a selected grain spirit, distilled several times to strip out the heavier congeners and fusel oils that carry rough flavours, then reduced with particularly pure water. Multiple distillation is what gives this style its clarity: each pass narrows the spirit toward ethanol and pulls away the oily, vegetal notes, leaving a soft and even base. At 37.5% it sits at the gentler end of the scale, which suits its mild, easy character. It is sold here in a UK gift box with a glass, and the listing is upfront that the LED light sticker is defective while the liquid is fine.
The nose is mild and clean, with fine cereal and a mineral freshness. The palate is soft and balanced with a quiet sweetness and a touch of spice, closing gentle and clear. Because it is mild and lightly sweet rather than punchy, it shines in a Cosmopolitan, where the vodka holds a clean line under cranberry, triple sec and a squeeze of lime without fighting the fruit.
