Description
A distillery only release for the UK market, this 7 Years Old Shortcross single malt from Rademon Estate in Co. Down was bottled in 2025 after an unusually patient finish, two full years in casks that previously held Mourne Mountains stout, brewed in the same corner of Down.
The ex-bourbon years build honey and orchard fruit, then the long stout finish pours in dark chocolate, coffee and roasted grain, with a creamy, porter like weight on the palate. Bottled at 46%, it is one of the estate's most flavour saturated releases, local beer and local whiskey folded together.
