Martini Mimosa is a ready-to-serve take on the classic mimosa, the sparkling-and-orange brunch aperitif, from the house of Martini. It is an Italian wine-based aperitif built on a light sparkling base and a fruity orange flavour, finished at a gentle 8% alcohol. As a bottled aperitif it is made to be poured straight, with no mixing, so the design is around bright fruit, fine carbonation and easy drinking rather than the structure of a varietal sparkling wine.
The colour is a bright orange-yellow with a fine effervescence. The nose is fresh, with sun-ripened orange and fine citrus fruit, and the palate is tangy, fruity and balanced, its lively freshness and gentle sweetness carried on fine bubbles into a light, fruity close. Serve it well chilled in a large wine glass, ideally with a slice of fresh orange.
