Littlemill 24 Years Old 1992 Closed Distilleries (Cadenhead’s)

Scotland's oldest independent, Cadenhead's has selected casks since 1842 and is owned by the Springbank family. The cask was filled in 1992 and bottled in 2016, a 24 year old Littlemill. The distillery is gone, so what survives in cask is all there will ever be.

Twenty-four years of ex-Bourbon soften Littlemill's floral, fruity character.

At its natural 52.2%, vanilla and light oak come from the bourbon cask. A delicate, floral character, silky and gently sweet. The American oak's low tannin let Littlemill's delicacy survive the years, contributing vanilla and a creamy lactone note.
