Description
Whisky-Fässle is a German independent prized for its well-chosen single casks. This 24 year old Littlemill came off the stills in 1989 and was bottled in 2014, in the Limited Edition range. A finite legacy from a vanished distillery, growing rarer with each bottling.
Twenty-four years in a refill bourbon cask keep Littlemill's soft orchard-fruit spirit bright.
At its natural 47.6%, vanilla and a soft oak frame from the ex-Bourbon. Honey, vanilla and a buttery Lowland softness carry it. The oak's vanillin and wood sugars lend vanilla and light toffee, the spirit's own esters bringing the fruit.
