Description
Whisky-Doris is a German single-cask label with a devoted following. This bottling is a 24 year old Littlemill, from cask 30, laid down in 1990 and drawn off in 2014, from The Nose Art range. As the last casks are bottled, Littlemill grows scarcer with every release.
Twenty-four years in ex-Bourbon frame the silky, floral spirit.
Bottled undiluted at 49.1%, the ex-Bourbon lends vanilla and a creamy oak note. Fragrant and clean, with orchard fruit and creamy fudge. A refill barrel works slowly: vanillin for vanilla, lactones for coconut, and oxidation building soft orchard fruit.
