The First Release of the 21 Year Old was Loch Lomond's flagship statement for Littlemill, an outturn of 3,000 bottles that reintroduced Scotland's oldest licensed distillery to a new audience at a serious age.

Twenty-one years in ex-Bourbon matured the light Lowland spirit, the gentle American oak contributing vanillin and lactones while two decades of slow oxidation turned the spirit's aldehydes toward fresh and dried fruit.

At 46% it shows that fruit with honey, citrus and a leafy, malty lift, vanilla beneath, the mature face of a closed distillery. The First Release 21.
