Description

The Second Release of the 21 Year Old followed the acclaimed first, a cask strength bottling of 4,550 from Loch Lomond's dwindling Littlemill stocks. A flagship mature expression of a distillery that can never make more.

Twenty-one years in ex-Bourbon deepened the light Lowland spirit, slow oxidation building fruit and the low-tannin oak lending vanillin; the higher strength keeps more of the spirit's grip than the gentler First Release.

At 47% it shows chocolate, fresh fruit, honey and new wood with a malty, citric lift, the Lowland softness matured and enriched. The Second Release 21.
