Douglas of Drumlanrig releases single casks under the Laing family's eye. This bottling is a 21 year old Littlemill, from cask LD 8259, laid down in 1991 and drawn off in 2012. Few bottles, a silent distillery and a great age together make this a genuine collector's piece.

Twenty-one years in a refill bourbon cask keep Littlemill's elegant Lowland character bright.

At 46%, the ex-Bourbon adds vanilla and a honeyed oak note. Honey, vanilla and a buttery Lowland softness carry it. The bourbon cask's lactones read as coconut and the lignin vanillin as vanilla, gentle on a light Lowland spirit.
