Littlemill 11 Years Old 1989 (Authentic Collection)

Cadenhead's bottles in the old style, without colour or chill filtration, a habit kept since 1842. An 11 year old Littlemill, this was distilled in 1989 and bottled in 2000. No spirit has flowed at Bowling since 1992, leaving only the casks already filled.

From an ex-Bourbon cask, eleven years draw out the light, clean Littlemill make.

At 61.6%, undiluted, the American oak frames the fruit with vanilla. Creamy fudge, honey and a floral lift on the close. In the ex-Bourbon cask, lignin breaks down to vanillin for the vanilla note, while oak lactones lend a soft coconut sweetness.
